Abe and Pon (Abe's Thai girlfriend) picked us up at about 11 am and took us to Central Mall, down on Pattaya Beach. We met up with Phil, a very personable friend of Abe's, and had a great lunch at a Sushi restaurant in the mall. After lunch, they took us over to a nearby market where Linda scored a great deal on a leather purse. On the way home, Abe drove us around on a quick tour of some of the highlights in the area - including a drive through Pattaya's infamous "Walking Street" (pedestrians only in the evening). Absolutely a white-knuckle ride for anyone new to Thailand!
Stopped & picked up some fresh prawns which Linda prepared for a delicious snack for everyone back at the condo. Still suffering a little jet lag and had run out of steam given the 37C heat and humidity.
Often smoggy, as you can see by the photos.
