Spent most of the day at the pool. With 6-1/2 weeks, we feel we can afford to laze around as much as we want - and with this heat, having a pool to cool off in has been a lifesaver. It's either that, or hole up in the air conditioned condo.

Kind of interesting to note - in North America, outside of competitive athletes, you'd never catch a guy wearing Speedos. Europeans, who you'd think would be very fashion-forward, wear nothing but Speedos and most of the women wear two-piece bathing suits. By North American standards, the majority of them can't really pull it off…
Abe and Pon spent the day cooking up Abe's mother's recipe for spaghetti sauce and some ribs. The food was brought over to the condo and Linda cooked up the pasta by boiling it in the electric wok (no pots here). We had an excellent meal - good food - good company.
